1982 Moody 27

Beaulieu, Hampshire

The smallest of the production Moodys, the Moody 27 is a smart 5 berth cruiser which still looks modern despite being a 1981 design. Sixpence is a 1982 boat with a 20hp Beta inboard diesel from 2000. Standing rigging from 2009, furling headsail, fully battened main with lazy jacks and bag, huge sail inventory ( including storm jib, Spinnaker and Ghoster ) all clean and in good condition in their sailbags. Decent nav and comms kit. Teak joinery. Young headlining and treadmaster on cabin sole. Heating. Fancy folding prop from 2013. Coppercoated in 2019. She has been ashore too much in recent years and needs an active new owner!
